Everyone wants to win in life, but I don’t think that could be more true than with Olympic athletes. Ever listen to the sacrifices they have made for years to become that caliber of athlete? Proms missed, getting tutored instead of going to school, limited social life and the expense of decades of training.
I think the more you sacrifice, the more you want to win. Yet, there is an interesting flip side. What is the first thing an athlete does when they finish a race, win or lose? They shake the hand of the person they just completed with. They graciously accept each other. Check out the video below.
