An Interview With Amy Alexander by Stacey Alcorn
Being interviewed by Stacey Alcorn was indeed a privilege. She is an entrepreneur, a contributing writer for the Huffington Post, keynote speaker, blogger and so much more. Most inspiring to me, she’s an incredible example of what can be accomplished with dreams and hard work.
Prior to the interview, Stacey asked if I wanted to go over some prepared questions and if there was anything I didn’t want to talk about. I found myself saying no, ask away. When the interview is over, prior to listening to it, I had a moment of trepidation. Should I have prepared questions and answers? Was I going to hear a lot of “ummm’s”…did I stutter?
My intention was to let people get to know me, as if they were having a conversation with me. I listened, and I had a big smile on my face when the interview was over. I sounded just like me. I didn’t stutter, I didn’t sound robotic or flat, it just sounded like Amy. I am proud because regardless how many people this interview reaches, I achieved what I wanted.
