Paralyzed, I Taught My Niece How To Tie Her Shoes

What's Your WheelchairRegardless of how confident an individual we are, self doubt creeps in at times for all of us. While inspirational articles and motivating quotes are at our fingertips via the Internet, I think it’s important for each of us to have our own story.

A challenging situation or circumstances we did not think we could succeed at, and yet we did. And it made you feel invincible, as if you could leap tall buildings in a single bound! That kind of story.

I recorded a video of my own story recently, but the sound did not come through. If you’d like to hear my story, please listen to the rerun WITH volume video below. This story makes me feel as if I can do anything. Already paralyzed, I taught my four year old niece how to tie her shoes.

That was a great story Amy Jamie must have been so proud!

    • I’m not sure who was more proud… Her or I, because she just kept trying until she was successful… She wanted it bad enough!:-) She’s the same girl today, over a decade later. Hope all is well with you, roses are beginning to blossom, lots of love. XOXO
